Katie has worked at Scugog in several capacities over her 12 years at camp, and is thrilled to be embarking on a new adventure with Nature School. In previous roles, Katie has also managed the camp kitchen, and run activities like swimming, arts and crafts, and out-tripping. Katie spent many years as a counsellor at Camp Scugog and at other camps and outdoor education centres, namely, at Evergreen Canada’s Nature School. Katie loves Scugog because of the community it creates. Outside of camp and outdoor education, Katie is in the midst of pursuing a PhD in in Social and Ecological Sustainability at the University of Waterloo.
