Camp Scugog's thriving community includes a Summer Camp, a Nature School and a Leadership Centre.

 

Our overnight Summer Camp supports children, youth, and families that face socioeconomic barriers through personal growth, connection, and joy, one camper at a time.

 

Our Nature School offers enrichment day programming that encourages children to deepen their relationship with the Earth through curiosity, experiential learning, and child-led outdoor play.

 

Our Leadership Centre offers tailored programming to cultivate student leaders through personal development, outdoor education, and team-building.

These three programs share a commitment to environmental stewardship, inspiring participants to embrace their role as stewards of the land and contribute to a cleaner, more vibrant Earth.
 

Socioeconomic challenges should not be a barrier to accessing and enjoying the great outdoors. While bursaries are available for our Nature School and Leadership Centre, our Summer Camp is designed to support children and families from underserved communities. Regardless of campers’ financial status, everyone is welcome at our overnight Summer Camp, while spots last. Fees are flexible and exist on a sliding scale based on need.

 

We are committed to financial sustainability, which is why our Nature School and Leadership Centre serve as revenue generating streams. Income from these programs is used to offset administrative costs, and keep our equipment and facilities up to date.
